If yesterday’s an indication of what’s to come…

Leah | May 5, 2008 | 11:45 am

Like my title says, if yesterday is an indication of what’s to come with this team, then it will surely be welcomed with open arms. The offense finally woke up and let’s hope they keep it that way against the up- and-coming mediocre series ahead with San Diego and Pittsburgh. It’s really nice to finally see this lineup clicking on all cylinders and showing off how much of a threat and dangerous offense they can be. It’s really nice to see Mark T. and KJ heating up as well, even though Mark was hit-less in yesterday’s offense awakening. Mark T. and KJ seem to make things flow better when they are on. Mac keeps hitting and will only improve with runners on base, as he showed yesterday that he can and will produce in key situations. Kotsay is exceeding expectations and that’s a good thing.

With today’s off day, let’s hope the productiveness doesn’t wear off for the rest of the week. Let’s go out tomorrow and continue the great tear that our offense is currently on. Let’s keep displaying what our offense is capable of doing. Let’s also keep the winning going while we can since we can’t seem to win on the road for whatever reason.

      Site Updates/Asides

      • If you noticed that the site was down today, then I'm very sorry. The problem is now fixed and everything should function properly.

      • I added an IM widget to the sidebar, so if you have a question or comment for me on the site or the Braves, please feel free to message me using this widget located at the top of the sidebar. I'm usually always online unless it's really late at night or in the morning, in which case I'm asleep.

      • I've put up a new theme as you've probably noticed, but I'm still working on a few others to use as well. The Theme Switcher is still down for that reason and will be back up as soon I'm finished.
